QUARTZITEBorgheseA FORTUNE BRAND

Quartzite Borghese is Fortune’s natural quartz: a beige orthoquartzite with a wood-like grain, from our mine at Raisen, Madhya Pradesh — and the mine development and operation expertise behind it.

The stone

Stone with the grain of wood.

Natural quartz, quarried and supplied from India. Orthoquartzite is a sedimentary rock with glass-like chemical properties; its silica-rich body makes it naturally weather and chemical resistant.

Colour: a beige base with light grey and light yellow straight lines — a soft, wood-like grain that presents beautifully when polished.

Mine Development & Operation

We run mines for their owners.

Through Mine Development & Operation (MDO), we develop and operate mines on behalf of their owners — bringing the planning, equipment and site discipline we use at our own mines.
