FSL was started with a vision that has transformed the Company and today it is one of the largest producers of red granite in Northern India. Along with sustained economic performance, environmental and social stewardship is also a key factor for holistic business growth. The Company’s focus has always been to contribute to the sustainable development of the society and environment, and to make our planet a better place for future generations.
At FSL, we have always aligned business priorities with social commitments, targeting need-based interventions for community welfare. FSL is dedicated to the cause of humanity and is focused upon improving the Human Development Index by way of positioning itself as a parenting force of various Social Change Agents operating at the ground level.
The CSR interventions are focused on enhancing quality of life of the community in the vicinity of business locations by way of improving community healthcare and education and also developing critical small civic infrastructures besides generating sustainable livelihood options, promoting sports, art and culture.
Before Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) found a place in corporate lexicon, it was already textured into our Group's value systems. Our founding father Shri Mahesh Bharadwaj espoused the trusteeship concept of management. Simply stated, this entails that the wealth that one generates and holds, is to be held as in a trust for our multiple stakeholders. With regard to CSR, this means investing part of our profits beyond business, for the larger good of society.
The Group excels the conventional barriers of business and reaches out to the marginalized as a matter of duty and to bring in a more equitable society.
Under its CSR initiative of FSL, efforts are put in to make good health affordable and accessible to the local communities and the society at large. Few are mentioned below:
